Our year has started off well with good attendances, with the return of members and new members, I hope this continues.

Our AGM is being held on 25 March and all the papers will be mailed out to each member with the Newsletter. There will be a short special general meeting to amend one clause in the Constitution, and then the annual general meeting will follow.

Also in the papers is a nomination form. All positions are vacant but present Board members may renominate. You are all free to put your name forward and I urge you to consider joining the Board.

Membership renewals are coming in and I know how easy it is to slip your mind if you haven’t rejoined, but you have until 25 March to do so. All members are eligible to vote if they have rejoined by 25 March prior to the meeting.

At the Board Meeting it was agreed that we make an application to Seniors’ Month for a grant to run an event in August. Details are a little sketchy at the moment but I should have firm details by next month.

To all our members who are not well either at home or in hospital, I hope you will soon be better and back at meetings again.
