During Planet Ark’s National Recycling Week, Darwin City Council is encouraging people to Recycle Right: to save water, to conserve resources, to reduce contamination and to combat climate change by reducing carbon emissions.

To celebrate National Recycling Week Darwin City Council will be holding a Big Aussie Swap Party on 10 November from noon to 2pm in Raintree Park at the corner of Smith and Knuckey Streets. You never know, this may be your chance to swap those unwanted items at home for something a bit different!
