August is Seniors Month and the calendar is full of a variety of activities to whet the appetite. U3A Darwin’s activity is a tour of the Aviation Heritage Museum at Winnellie.

On Thursday 20 August commencing 10am.

We received a Grant from Senior’s Month to cover the costs of this event so it is open to non-members as well as members. For our members there will be transport as usual from Casuarina Library, leaving at 10am. Bookings are essential.

On arrival at the Museum there will be some DVDs to watch including the Bombing of Darwin, after that you will be able to walk around the exhibits. There are plenty of information boards about the exhibits.

To conclude the tour there will be morning tea with Dragon fruit flavoured muffins.
